We love to travel, but things certainely become more challenging when travelling with kids. A flight to Florida with a 6 week old? No problem. Italy at 6 months? A bit more challenging. Another Italy trip with a 3 month old and 2 year old? Some serious issues. We managed just fine travelling by ferry, taxi and bus and even did OK in Positano with all of those hills. Arriving is easy, but getting there…not so much. When I first saw Portable Playtime I knew it would be a hit since anything that makes flying with kids even remotely easier is worth trying out. How nifty is this idea–a portable mat which fits perfectly on the tray table with pockets for the kids’ toys and snacks that folds up into a backpack. No more worrying about which bag the toys are in or where the M&M’s (great for travel by the way…take a long time to eat one by one) are stashed. Some things I just won’t travel without, and my new Portable Playtime is one of them.
