Christeve Curby Anderson , founder of Curby’s Closet, claims she’s a sentimental gal for vintage doll and baby clothes and one look at her collection and you realize why. When I first opened the package and saw the quilted shoes I was immediately struck by the vintage fabric yet they didn’t look stuffy because they were offset by an adorable pink polka dot ribbon and vintage buttons. I wanted to put them in a frame right away and hang them on my daughter’s wall. I couldn’t imagine letting her wear them out and getting them dirty. However, Christeve’s assertion they would actually stay on my baby’s feet made me try them and I’m glad I did. They stayed on, and I was asked more than once where someone else could find them. Curby’s Closet is a great website to go to for not only these shoes but also blankets and vintage outfits that will surely stand out as a one of a kind present for any mom to be.
