An established company whose been in business for over 20 years, Rock N Learn is a great source for educational music and videos. We tried out two DVDs: Nursery Rhymes and Alphabet Exercise. Keeping them in the car, I felt less guilty about popping in a DVD after “Mommy, what are you doing?” repeated ten times gets old. (Answer ten times…”driving.”) This way the kiddos are learning and we can all sing the “A, B, Cs” and nursery rhymes such as “This Old Man” which is now one of our new favorites. I also like how Mother Goose and her brother and sister teach manners too as they lead the kids through favorite nursery rhymes. Each DVD elicited song, laughter and clapping from the backseat from both my 3 and 18 month old, so although the age recommendation is 3-5 years, I believe younger children could also benefit from the entertaining but educational series. With the ability to search by age, ranging from 3 to 10 and over, educational music and videos from Rock N Learn scored big with our family.
