To 30-something’s like myself, there no better toy for your toddler daughter to enjoy that good ol‘ Starbwery Shortcake! Having the opportunity to view the new “Sky’s the Limit” DVD released last week by Twentieth Century Fox brings back lots of fond memories. Turns out, Strawberry first appeared on an American Greeting’s card back in 1979 and eighties children everywhere, immersed in Strawberry Shortcake mania, remember fondly characters such as Apple Dumplin‘ and Hukleberry Pie. A new generation of Strawberry lovers is emerging with the heartwarming new movie introducing our children once again to Strawerry’s friends like Blueberry Muffin and Custard. Now that Strawberry Shortcake run a cafe, a music video called “Cafe Cabaret” with coloring page printables and even a Photoworks free book coupon are included in the “Sky’s the Limit” DVD movie. Check out the official “Sky’s the Limit” site for more coloring pages, a trailer and even enter the for a chance to win a DVD player and copy of “Sky’s the Limit.” Having already seen the movie twice this week, it’s no surprise my daughter is now planning to be Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween. (We just ordered costumes from Costume Express…be sure to grab a coupon code first.) On a side note, the Strawberry Shortcake website may be some one of the cutest I’ve ever seen.
