Sprout Pregnancy Essentials iPhone App *Top Pick*

Pregnant? Own an iPhone? You absolutely must have the Sprout Pregnancy Essentials iPhone app created by Med ART Studios which is the best pregnancy resource I’ve seen after two children and countless books and websites.  With high resolution 3D images of your baby at each new week, it also includes an interactive screen that allows users to click different parts of the baby to receive more information on what’s happening in your belly.  You can even rotate the baby for views of all angles.

The app includes other neat features for pregnant mamas such as week by week advice written by doctors, a customizable pregnancy timeline, pregnancy checklists and weight monitor. (Blah)  I would have loved the kick counter capability after panicking more than once about the baby’s movement, and there’s even a contraction timer for when it’s time.  I’ve already recommended to everyone I know whose expecting  and promise you won’t be disappointed with this app which is why we’ve given it our Top Pick seal of approval.

COOL GIVEAWAY:  Sprout Pregnancy Essentials can be purchased on iTunes or if you’re feeling lucky enter to win a code to download the app ($9.99 value) by following Sprout on Facebook.  If you don’t Facebook simply visit their site and comment back here about one featured we did not mention.  Comment back here for each entry.  U.S. Residents Only.  Expires 7/6/10.

I'm a fan of Sprout on FB. I also learned that "If you know your baby's gender, you can add it under 'Settings'. In the 'My Baby' section you'll then see gender specific content and images." That is very cool. I'd love to win for my SIL.
