I recently started using a new Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control regime which includes toothpaste, clinical rinse, pro-flex toothbrush and clinical protection floss. Using these products together, Crest and Oral-B claim to reduce plaque and even keep it from coming back! I plan a follow-up post to check in on those claims but want to outline the benefits and share my progress so far.
Hopefully my dentist isn’t really since I do have a hard time sticking to a floss routine. I’ve promised myself to floss once a day and can’t believe I haven’t discovered Glide floss before. Love it! I do use mouthwash periodically but committed to using every day as well to allow the program to work for me.
Every time I leave the densit’s office I promise myself I will floss more to maintain that clean-teeth feeling. As a tea drinker, some stains are inevitable since I refuse to drink hot tea from a straw. But I know there’s more I can do to take better care of my teeth which have to stand in line behind my hair, body, house and just about everything in my life struggling to maintain some semblance of balance. Now with a chance to get it right and a line helping me along the way, Crest and Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Plaque Control is an opportunity to take control of one area of my life.
Maybe next month I’ll tackle Spring cleaning.
I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Crest and Oral-B and received product samples to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central Consulting sent me a promotional gift to thank me for taking the time to participate.

Tomorrow Handy Manny appears for the first time on Special Agent Oso! “The Manny with the Golden Bear” premieres Friday, March 30th (12:00-12:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel with encore airings on the new Disney Junior channel.
We’ve been spolied in the Northeast lately with mild temperatures and have been outside playing much sooner in the season than normal. This weekend, when the weather turned cooler and wetter, a more typical March day for us, the family was once again relugated indoors looking for dance party and learning time alternatives. The Mickey Mouse Greenhouse by Peachtree Playthings, who partnered with Scotts Miracle-Gro, was just what the doctor ordered. (Speaking of doctors, Doc McStuffins continues to be a huge hit, so I’d like to take this opportunity to lobby Comcast to get Disney Junior channel in NEPA!) I can barely keep the three plants in my house alive, so the idea of a vegrtable garden is foreign to both myself and my children whose idea of gardening is helping to rake leaves. I love that it introduced them to the process as our Disney charachter friends guided us to plant tomatos, sweet peppers and cucumbers. Each character is designated a different vegrtable, and a cardboard cutout reminded us that plants need soil and sun to surive. We added water to special safe and non-toxic Miracle-Gro Gro-Mix, added our seeds and Disney friends and the greenhouse now sits on the kitchen counter, soaking in the sun until mini-veggies appear in a week or so.
With other varieties including the Disney Princess Castle and Disney Fairies Pixie Hollow Greenhouses, Peachtree Playthings Miracle-Gro Flower and Vegetable Gardens are not only fun family activities but will be my go to preschooler gift at just $12.99. Check them all out and find a retailer near you.

This iPhone/iPad/iPod touch The Hunger Games app is currently #26 on the iTunes App Store and #17. And for The Hunger Games fans, a good prescurser to tonight’s movie opening!
I used two Artist Loft boards from Michael’s (calendar and combo board) in my mud room to organize our month, meals and coupons with a section for notes and reminders.

Cool Baby Kid is proud to partner with CVS/pharmacy and excited to bring readers picks and tips from a store our family loves. We frequent CVS often and have recommended the pharmacy to friends and family. The ExtraCare Rewards Program is a must for CVS customers since it offers so many benefits including 2% al non-prescription purchases and $1 ExtraBucks rewards on every two prescriptions. Recently I learned about the GreenBagTag, a .99 cent tag customers can use to receive $1 ExtraBucks reward for every four visits.
In March my son received a Nintendo DS for his birthday. So far we've tested out Silverlicious for DS and Gogo's Crazy Bones, and he's loving the "big boy" teach toy. I'm amazed at how inherent the play is for him as he picks it right up and begins to navigate through the screens. "DS time" is … [Read More...]
We recently had the opportunity to visit the Please Touch Museum, The Children's Museum of Philadelphia. The first museum in the nation designed for children ages seven and under, it's "learning through play" philosophy is evident throughout the 156,000 square foot of space it occupies in Memorial … [Read More...]
When I originally signed up to compete in a Tough Mudder obstacle course mud run, the date didn't click. Just the other day I realized a morning of breakfast in bed and extra pampering was not to be this year for me. Instead I'll be getting a different kind of "mud treatment" making a spa trip … [Read More...]
