    Neptune Sprouts: Reversible Pinafore, Our Newest Gift Idea

    First of all, let’s explain. A pinafore is a sleeveless dress which is open in the back without buttons or other closures. Otherwise translated, a pinafore by Neptune Sprouts is simply the cutest outfit you’ll ever find. The back overlaps which keeps it essentially closed and is also reversible and extremely versatile. We’re using it in the summer as a dress, but can later be worn over a shirt in as temperatures cool or even as a tunic as your toddler grows into a little girl. My daughter understandably received many compliments on her Zoe pinafore; it’s so different than other outfits she owns which is why we think a Neptune Sprouts pinafore makes a perfect gift for sizes 3 months to 4T with a variety of reversible patterns to choose from.     Polliwalks Sharkie Clogs: Shoes That Entertain {Giveaway}

    When Cool Baby Kid originally reviewed Polliwalks in the Fall of 2008 it was one of our most popular posts. Why? Because they are so stinkin’ adorable! Kid’s clog shoes are mom’s favorite summer shoe…easy on and off, wipeable and durable, they are staples to ever toddler and kid shoe collection. Unlike most, however, Polliwalks are also stylish with animal faces that also entertain. I recently held off my 1 year old in the grocery line by taking off his Sharkie shoe (pictured) and playing Jaws with him. Other cool new designs include the Fish Lips which change color and Fire Fly shoe that actually light up. And in case you’re new to Polliwalks, I have to point out the imprinting feature; get them wet on the bottom and watch animals prints appear as your child walks. To date I haven’t see anything quite like Polliwalks which is why they remain one of Cool Baby Kid’s *Top Picks* of all time!
