Holiday Bows…Check. *Pink Bowtique Giveaway*

We recently had an all-out debate at my workplace regarding the merits of “holiday outfits.” Specifically, the men (boys) in the group thought the idea of separate outfits for Christmas Eve and Christmas absurd. As a mom of two and author of this cool picks blog since 2007, I heartily disagree. Christmas outfits, PJs and even hair accessories mark the beginning of the holiday season. (For the record, holiday outfits were purchased this year on Zulily and Nonnie just ordered Christmas PJs on Gymboree.com this week.)

When it comes to hair accessories, I don’t mess around heading straight to Pink Bowtique. Vera Bradley released all new colors and styles, and I am absolutely in love with the Sophie Watercolor bag. The perfect size for a quick outing, it has plenty of pockets (six in all) and at a retail price of just $42 also makes a great gift for a friend. Pink Bowtique Girls Hair Bows and Headbands

We’re into headbands lately and wanted to share some of their selections. We clip the flowers to hard headbands and occasionally use the soft ones too. The SippiGrip: No More Dirty Cups {Giveaway & Coupon}

My daughter just started this fun game of tossing things like her bottles…her toys….her food. She throws them, I pick them up and clean them and give whatever it was back to her so that we can start it all over again.
