Our family could not be more excited to welcome a new baby, new cousin and little girl to our growing clan. And with a baby blog and two new additions in the last four years, I can’t help offer advice about cool products and hope my cousins aren’t sick of the, “You have to get this” emails, usually linking back to a Cool baby Kid Top Pick. A baby bouncer is an essential piece of baby equipment due to it’s portability and comfiness (for the baby…sorry, it’s too small for tired new moms and dads). I know from experience bouncers are not all created equal. My baby daughter hated her first one, likely because it was too stiff.

Preparing for Disney: Stroller Choices & CSN Stores

In less than two weeks our family will head to sunny Florida for a long awaited Disneyworld vacation. As any Disney-goer can attest, preparing for travel to visit Mickey and the princesses requires a well thought out plan of action.  While details on parades and parks are still being worked out thanks to A Guide to Walt Disney World with Preschoolers, other decisions such as dinner reservations and stroller choices were made months ago. Back in April 2008 Cool Baby Kid reviewed the Bebe Au Lait Nursing Cover, also know as the Hooter Hider Nursing Cover for the more adventurous type.  It was a favorite of ours then and continues to be a product and company we’re proud to spotlight.  I personally owned and used the Chocolat Nursing Cover with both children and appreciate the attention to design from a unique rigid neckline that allows mom to see baby as she nurses to the terrycloth pocket for easy clean ups.  We even gave a shout-out to Bebe Au Lait as a travelling with baby “must have” in a post from 2007 when we took our three month on a vacation to Italy.

Bella Tunno Oopsie Ditty Diaper Wristlet Clutch {Giveaway}

I went away for the weekend with my three week old baby for the first time and took my diaper wristlet with me. Since I was using her diaper bag as her overnight bag also, I packed her diaper ditty to use when we went out for lunch. It was pouring out so my husband dropped us off in front of the restaurant. It was so much easier to carry my purse, the wristlet, and her car seat then lugging her HUGE diaper bag. The diaper ditty comes with a solution sack including disposable bib, place mat, changing pad, antibacterial flush able wipes, Shout stain removing wipes, two band aids, crayons, notepad, and a pen. This is all packed in a see through very convenient plastic bag. Since my daughter is less then a month old I did not need some of those items. The Bella Tunno Oopsie Ditty wristlet does not look very big however it easily held 3 diapers, wipes travel container, diaper rash cream, spit up towel and an extra bib. I realize I am a new mom and will need to bring a diaper bag for long excursions but to go out to dinner or to run errands the wristlet is all I will ever use! There are at least a dozen different trendy styles to choose from. The wristlet is so very functional, trendy, and fun!
