Following all of the recent buzz about Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bags we were curious to have a look. After two babies in two years I was skeptical any diaper bag could meet the demands of a toddler, but this one does! Quite simply…it’s our favorite diaper bag yet. Bella Tunno Oopsie Ditty Diaper Wristlet Clutch {Giveaway}

I went away for the weekend with my three week old baby for the first time and took my diaper wristlet with me. Since I was using her diaper bag as her overnight bag also, I packed her diaper ditty to use when we went out for lunch. It was pouring out so my husband dropped us off in front of the restaurant. It was so much easier to carry my purse, the wristlet, and her car seat then lugging her HUGE diaper bag. The diaper ditty comes with a solution sack including disposable bib, place mat, changing pad, antibacterial flush able wipes, Shout stain removing wipes, two band aids, crayons, notepad, and a pen. This is all packed in a see through very convenient plastic bag. Since my daughter is less then a month old I did not need some of those items. The Bella Tunno Oopsie Ditty wristlet does not look very big however it easily held 3 diapers, wipes travel container, diaper rash cream, spit up towel and an extra bib. I realize I am a new mom and will need to bring a diaper bag for long excursions but to go out to dinner or to run errands the wristlet is all I will ever use! We know good nutrition is important for baby right from the start. As a mom of three, I am constantly striving to provide the best foods for my kids although I admit they don’t always eat them! The First Years True Fit™ Rebound Convertible Car Seat

When shopping for a car seat there are only really two considerations for us: safety and functionality. The First Years True Fit™ Rebound Convertible Car Seat is the only car seat out there with an anti-rebound bar which lessens the “bounce” after initial impact and actually prevent broken bones in a serious crash. It is also side impact and was given a 5-star NHTSA rating for rear and forward facing modes for ease-of-use which is apparent in many ways. The seat is equipped with a built-in level, built in lock-offs and a LATCH system for both the rear and forward facing positions and is super easy to adjust because the 5-point harnesses do not need to be re-threaded.

One of my favorite features of this car seat are the pads. There are enough of them to tightly secure an infant and they can be easily removed for a larger child or to be cleaned. Did I mention that the pads even look good? They are gender neutral and will look perfect in a minivan or Mercedes. As if all of these features were not enough the True Fit Premier can hold a child from 5 to 65 pounds which is great since this is one of those baby items that will last longer than a month. Overall I would strongly encourage anyone who is car seat shopping to consider the True Fit Premier for all of these reasons.

When looking for my daughter’s first pair of shoes I made the mistake of buying a pair of sneakers with a thick rubber sole. She didn’t get very far in them. They didn’t bend or conform to her feet all, and I had to give up on them. Since then I got a chance to try pediped originals for my 8 month old daughter. Instead of a thick sole, pediped infant and toddler shoesshape to your child’s foot which helps prevent them from slipping around in the shoe.

Tea Collection: A New Cool Baby Kid Top 10 Editor’s Pick

Why the name Tea? When I first encountered this unique line of children’s apparel, I wondered about the name. It made sense after reading their tagline, “for little citizen’s of the world,” as the website reminds us nearly every culture around the world drinks tea offering inspiration, warmth and mindfulness. (On a side note, the idea of mindfulness is new to me but intriguing as a busy, working mom.) With inspiration from places such as the Mediterranean, Peru, Tibet and Korea Tea, both assortments including Tea Collection and Daily Tea, an unmatched style for babies, toddlers and big kids is apparent in every piece we’ve reviewed. We were lucky enough to preview the Hanji Floral Dress and Bicycle Stripe Suite Sleeper Set. While the dress easily stood out (see for yourself by browsing the Tea Collection site) I was pleasantly surprised that even the PJs reflect Tea’s philosophy.
