Punkaboo Waterproof Labels, Notecards & Tags {Giveaway}

They say necessity is the mother of invention, and one mother of three decided to forgo tape and sharipe pens for a more stylish solution. Lucky for the rest of us who aren’t creatively inclined or have extra time on our hands to manufacture adorable waterproof labels or bag tags for our kids, Punkaboo can do these thing and more. Aside from custom labels which are dishwasher, microwave and chlorine safe, Punkaboo also has calling cards and note cards with coordinated gel pens and (my favorite) packages with combinations of bags and labels for one person. Thinking about what to label? Try bottles, sippy cups, toys, books or school supplies for starters. We used the bag tag for our daughter’s book bag and waterproof labels on sippy cups and books that make their way to the sitter’s house. What set Punkaboo apart from other label companies are their very reasonable prices–waterproof labels are only $12.00 per sheet (21-50 labels depending on size.) Sorry I couldn’t show y’all the cute packing and labels/tags we receive from Punkaboo, but they’re emblazoned with the kids’ names. Bugaboo Announcments: Kids’ Note Cards {Giveaway}

I read once on an etiquette site that at a certain age kids should begin to write their own thank you notes. Though I can’t remember the age, these fill in the blank thank you cards for kids seem like an easy way to break them in. Even my three year old, with our help, can write her name to the bottom for a personalized thank you. For less specific purposes, the personalized note cards by Bugaboo Announcements are darling too with various designs that you can pair with the child’s name. I’m a sucker for any well-designed website to pair with a perfect product and Bugaboo fits that bill. The cute factor alone will have your browsing though the site for longer than an average browse. Victoria P. Zurcher Designs: Unique Personalized Gifts

It’s summer, and with summer comes thirsty kiddos who don’t want warm juice in their sippy cups. So, what is a mom to do when faced with thirsty thirsty kids who want something other than warm juice? Well, how about a personalize water bottle? I recently had the opportunity to review a personalized aluminum water bottle from Victoria Zurcher Designsand I have to say that it is a great alternative to the plastic sippy we usually use. I received the personalized aluminum water bottle in the Orchid design with an “e” initial and the first thing I noticed was the fact that the design is very bright and colorful. The water bottle itself is light-weight, which surprised me since it is made out of metal, and it keeps drinks cool, especially when you add ice to it. One thing that I did notice was the fact that the outside sweats a little bit making a a bit hard to little hands to hold onto, but it’s quite easy to just wipe it off and you are ready to go.

I love the fact that I can put the personalized water bottle right into the dishwasher and I don’t have to worry about the design peeling or washing off (it’s totally dishwasher safe). Another thing to note is the fact that these water bottles are lead-free! Victoria Zurcher Designs also makes other types of cool personalized products including personalized plates, personalized lunch boxes, and personalized wipe off placemats. What’s my overall opinion? I think the personalized aluminum water bottles are a cute and useful accessory for any kid, especially a child who attends summer camp or school!

Oliver’s Labels: Labels for Kids with Tracking Too

Cool Baby Kid has found the best labels for your kids’ stuff; Oliver’s Labels has revolutionized the label industry with their unique, free Found It feature. Their product line includes the original adorably designed label as well as mini-labels, bag tags, shoe and clothing labels and even fashion inspired designs. One of my favorites are the Stick-eez clothing labels which you can simply stick onto the clothing label…no ironing necessary. I also love the mini-labels which are small enough for spoons or even pencils and, like the original, are safe for refrigerator, microwave or dishwasher. Our child care provider uses them to label sippy cups and is impressed at how well they’ve held up to repeated washings!

But the truly unique feature which sets Oliver’s Labels apart from any other label company is Found It, (pictured) an optional feature which allows you to have a number code printed on your labels and register an email address. If lost (and found) the finder is prompted to enter the code on their webpage and Oliver’s Labels acts as an intermediary notifying you of the find. Is that cool or what? Though we haven’t lost anything yet I went through the process which worked like a charm and was so impressed at the ingenuity of this feature.
